once upon a time in mumbai

Hi guys,
Whenever I talk to anyone, my love to the city of Mumbai just bursts out from my heart. I just won't care to whom I'm talking to. For some Bangalore is the best, for some Delhi, and some Hyderabad, but for me it is always my aamchi Mumbai. It is there where my crucial diversion of life occurred, it is there where I started my career, it is the city which taught me how to dream. So, in many ways it is really important for me. But the love for the city is not because of all these things. During my childhood I never liked Mumbai for its appalling name in regard to the underworld and being the most dangerous place. But one single incident inverted my attitude towards the city. Let me share that with you.
It was in January 2006, when the most atrocious thing happened in my life. I was a student at CUSAT during those days. It had broken me completely; even the minute hope of good life was vanished. I was to reach Mumbai urgently. I cannot lose attendance as I fear of shortage and may risk having more supplies in my arsenal. So, the only option left was to transit via flight. I booked the ticket, I didn't know any other flight company other than Jet airways cos I had travelled in that long back when i was a child. The ticket was 6000rs one side. Yes, it was pretty very expensive. The family had a serious credit crunch faced, and the sad face of economic depression was visible at my mother's paycheck.
I lost the hope of survival, yes it was almost sure something is ending up harshly. My faith in god had already disappeared.
After booking the ticket I had no money to go to airport. Maybe some 500 rs or something was that I had. If I catch a taxi that will be almost 300, and then I will be left with just 200 rs. I requested a lot of people, who had bike to drop me at the airport, but no one was ready. More reasons to blame god, I thought. Finally I got a bike, thanks to JK, and now I need a driver who could drop me at the airport. This time Rakri came into picture. My good rapport with these people helped me, otherwise I’d had done with because even my closest friends didn’t wanted to help me. Rakri wanted a pack cigarette in return, I until now I failed to give him. Also, he is such a good friend that he never asked me.
Then I got down at the Mumbai airport. No idea where to go, I called a family friend to get to know the path. I was asked to reach nearest railway station, that is Vile Parle and catch a train to Church Gate. No idea how to get there. At last, I got a taxi to Vile Parle. He told it is very far and it will cost me 100 bucks. Again no idea, I told OK. He took me to the station in say 5 minutes. I totally freaked out, as I expected some like 10 km from the airport. I started arguing with the taxi driver. My first argument in Hindi(hehe)..
I freaked out again, as none concerned the fight going on, all just gave a glimpse and continued with what they were doing. I had no other option than to give him 100 bucks. One more reason to blame god.
All of a sudden out of nowhere, a traffic policeman jumped towards the taxi. He was short, thin, and dark with a big "marathi" cooling glass. He asked me what the problem was. I explained him the situation. He asked me to get into car along with him and ordered (yes it was) driver to take the vehicle to the police station. The driver was literally crying out of fear, and finally he left with only 20 rs.
The Traffic police man told me this, as I thanked him, "kabhee gabraao nahee, hum log tumhaare seva karne ke liye hee baita hai." It was the first time I was to deal with the police and it gave me confidence over the complete police dept of the country. A dim light of hope started popping up inside me right that second. The trust to god was replaced by trust to humanity. I suddenly started feeling everything is going to be fine. Every bad thing in my life will reverse back. That single incident brought alacrity to live.
When I turn back now, I find the ways I came through very acrid, but the flames of hope which this simple traffic police man had ignited in me still keeps me from breaking down at atrocities.
Whenever I feel bad, I think of Bombay, and this sentence comes up,"kabhee gabraao nahee, hum log tumhaare seva karne ke liye hee baita hai." And I'm then starting afresh to face the world with a reason to love life, humanity and Mumbai....

My new full moon

Nothing to write this time. Just to make sure, I have the ability to read and write I came buzzing around. My life have new dimensions, may be due to the presence of an alien girl who lacks all the qualities that I too lack. Without sense, how are you going to make a point. Come on, I don't know. I just never knew that. Making up my mind, I saw the full moon of my life, brightest and shiniest. The fall has eased up the pressures, the leap has contributed an extraordinary life and I'm done. I fail, I win who cares. It is just whether you lived or not what is cared. I have no regrets till now, of making mistakes, or committing suicidal mishaps. Cos they define me better, what I'm and what I lost or gained. They cultivated the present me. The life lived, or enjoyed being in. Confused by the victories, screwed by defeats and accepted fantasies. Hmm my life is happening man. It is like, my life is the scent of marijuana. I feel a heavenly Nirvana, with a poisonous touch. This is a real change, the alien girl was never part of it, but I appreciate her presence. Who knows this alien girl has a reason like Josee, like Sree, like Dappi, like boxer, or like Achu, to be in the heart of this dust bin. Recycling them will still give you an energy, the real Renewable Energy which is yet to be discovered. Like all the others, I too have started living for others. A heavenly snow is falling over and I feel the sacred sunshine over my head the same time. Gimme a break god, I'm fed up with disasters.
Now my point is I met a full moon. It has all sense of energy to ride me and the moon is an alien girl. Should I love her?

अपुन का कविता समाहार

Guys,
I'm just posting some of my attempted poetric works. Please comment as I don't know whether they are good.

Time depart without saying a word,
People diminish without counting time..
But they make an impact on the audience of what they lost.
If you miss me after me, it is what that really counts....
************************************************************
The love felt for you in my heart is like a robe of snow,
The essence leads you to nirvana and my heart is an eden-make.
*************************************************************
In this winter night my eyes are knitting dreams,
The beautiful ones hath made you an angel,
others made you affable...
The morning light vapourised you from my mind as a dewdrop,
which melted my heart...

*************************************************************
The morning window caressed by dewdrops,
cold water filling joy of living onto your face,
and chilled breeze taking you to that sacred past..
Its true we get blessed for getting up early...

*************************************************************
*************************************************************
Dewdrops are the joy of morning,
But were the sorrow of a mournful night...
The cries we've thrown today, will flourish as flowers tomorrow...

**************************************************************

Religious Misconcepts

There are a lot of misconceptions going on all over the world. It is time to think and act. There is no fight that can be settled, and there is no war that has an end. Yes, the thing I'm talking about is Islamic terrorism. Muslims all over the world are considered as Terrorists. In a country where Sir APJ Abdul Kalaam is a role-model, other Muslims are treated worse.
I'm going to explain something:-
If you don't like someone, first try to figure it out why you don't like him. Then have a talk with him about any relevant topic and try to know more of him. You will easily come to know despite of 1000 differences there will be a matter you both will have in common. A person is just like a coin which has 2 sides- one good one and one bad side. This is true for all. Even the worldwide heroes are no different. The proverb "Nobody is perfect" can be easily authenticated. Love all, fear only god.
Don't compare India to US or any other country. India is a country which has more than 100 speaking languages and more than 10 religions. In US all are Christians, who name the god as Christ, and in Saudi they call the almighty as Allah only. Here in India only almighty has several names. So there may be sparks when they compare the religions to one another.
The basic of all religions is LOVE and LOVE only. So enact in a way that later you must not feel guilty of what you have done.
Coming to idol worships and Muslims trying to abuse that. All Muslims do their namaaz angling towards Meccah. So, aint that superstitious.
Hindus say killing a cow is bad, and they kill human beings, what is this??
There are a lot of possibilities of differences, but we can make up a friendship with anyone we want. It is upto u to be or not to be. Think before you act.

LTTE issue and the stand of DMK

Folks,

I would like to share my views regarding the latest issues in Sri Lanka and the corresponding response from Indian Government.
As far as Indian history, we had always tried to stay away from a neighbouring country's affairs. Chachaji had started this mission hopefully to maintain a peaceful environment at Indian subcontinent. This legacy being our asset, it was rather shameful that Indian asked the Lankan government to stop the war against LTTE. This will in turn welcome comments from Pakistan for killing Lashkar militants, and China for killing of Mao terrorists.

Now coming to the stands of DMK. A short glance on chronicle can prove LTTE a terrorist group. On what grounds are they supporting LTTE, then. Ok, they speak tamil. But they belong to Lanka, and are not Indians. So, how can a political party change the Foreign policies of India for this intend. I would blame Hon'ble PM Dr.Manmohan Singh to accept this ludicrous attitude of DMK.
A week back a lot Christians were furiously attacked and killed by a bunch of Hindutva monkeys in Orissa, and Karnataka mainly. No political party did report them lamentable. Also, there occured a few crackers in the capital city, accounting to the death of a lot people(Not VIPs so even police is not stressed). National leaders have to change their dress 3 times in 2 hours doesn't have time to glimpse over major issues of the country.

Now more on LTTE. I hope most of you must had not disregarded the atrocious killing of Late Shri. Rajiv Gandhi- the youth icon of his time. I distrust the patriotism of DMK, and their allies in this contradiction. If they had at least a small value for the nation, they must had never resigned over this issue.
If this is the issue, I suspect Indian hands are also involved the murder of Rajiv Gandhi. I cannot tell DMK did it, but the current attittude has placed a shadow of hunch over them.
